My name is Mike Sportiello. I have over 30 years experience in the service business. After High School, I attended DeVry Technical Institute. I then began working at Central Jersey Music Service in EDISON, NJ, and was trained by the legendary Dennis Kager. Becoming his right hand man, I worked there from 1990 until we closed in 2016. The knowledge I obtained from Dennis, both technically and his business savvy, was priceless. Dennis also encouraged me to build my little sound company while working for him. SPORTIESOUND was born in 1995. After CJMS closed, Dennis opened a small shop at his home and we were always in contact. I also opened my own shop and combined it with my sound company, SPORTIESOUND. I carried on the the business CJMS provided for 6 years, being an authorized service center for many of the same companies.

Sadly we lost Dennis a few years ago. The industry lost a legend. I have acquired all of the old stock that Dennis had collected over his years of service.

It was a difficult decision to leave a successful business, but better quality of life and more opportunities led me south. I now have moved everything to the NASHVILLE area, settling in HENDERSONVILLE, TN. I'm excited to be a part of the music business here. I love music, especially live music, and I love knowing that I was a part of keeping the show going.

I have serviced everything from tube amplifiers to digital amplifiers, analog synths to digital keyboards, passive speakers to powered speakers, analog mixers to digital mixers.

I have the experience to keep your gear running in tip top shape and the integrity to say when it is time to invest in new gear.
